Android and iPhone users can easily use Tinder and meet up with men and women in their local area. When a person doesn’t want to use their smartphone or tablet, they’ll find that Tinder doesn’t have a friendly option for PC users. There is a simple and easy way to get around these restrictions so that you can utilize Tinder on a laptop or PC without an issue. Let’s discuss how to install Tinder for PC users.

Download and Install an Emulator

Apps are designed to run on mobile operating systems. Since your PC is likely running Windows, there is no way to download an app meant for Android or the iPhone and run it on your computer without an emulator. Emulators will mimic the specified environment so that you can begin using apps right on your PC.

Get an Emulator

There are a few emulators that are worth downloading. The following are among the most popular:

• YouWave
• VirtualBox
• BlueStacks

VirtualBox is a very technical emulator that should not be attempted without advanced computer knowledge or a tutorial. However, YouWave and BlueStacks are very easy to use and offer a traditional download and install option without all of the fuss.

For this tutorial, let’s go with the easiest emulator to use: BlueStacks. The following steps need to be taken to download and install the emulator:

1. Download BlueStacks.
2. Open the .exe file.
3. Follow the installation steps.

You’ll want to ensure that your PC meets the minimum requirements as stated by the developer. These requirements are as follows:

• 2GB of RAM
• 9GB of free disk space

Most modern computers will have no issues meeting these requirements. If your computer is older and only meets the minimum requirement for RAM, your system may freeze and become unresponsive. If this does occur, you may need to update your system.

Download and Install Tinder

Once you have installed BlueStacks, you’ll want to proceed to the application so that you can download Tinder. This is done by doing the following:

1. Open BlueStacks
2. Click the magnify glass at the top of the screen
3. Search for Tinder
4. Click install

Now, you’ll go through the regular app installation process and be able to run the Tinder app. Since you’re not using a smartphone, you’ll need to download and install a GPS app to help you get the most out of your Tinder experience.

Download a GPS App

Tinder uses your location to show you matches. A great way to either get matches from other locations or simply set your location is by downloading Fake GPS. This is an app meant for Android users.

Simply follow the steps in our previous section and search for Fake GPS instead of Tinder. Once installed, open the app and set your desired location. Now, you can open up the Tinder app and everything should work just fine.

One drawback that needs to be mentioned using this method is that you need to leave BlueStacks or any emulator open to receive the most matches. So, remember to leave your computer open and BlueStacks running at all times with the Tinder app loaded. This will provide you with more overall matches than if you shut down your computer.
